
As the Coronavirus continues to affect the lives of many in Singapore, Many faces unemployment, no-pay leave and pay cuts.

According to the Ministry of Social and Family Development, a COVID-19 Support grant is available for affected individuals.
Am I Eligible?
- Singaporeans and Permanent Residents
- Age 16 and above
- Laid off, On No pay-leave or pay cut of minimum 30%
- Eligible for those affected by point number 3, after 23rd Jan 2020.
- Household income less than S$10,000
- Property Annual Value less than S$21,000
8. Anyone that wishes to receive this grant must be actively looking for a job or attend Workforce Singapore (WSG) training or Employment and Employability Institute
How Much?
- Those individuals who have lost their jobs or on involuntary no-pay leave will be eligible for a cash grant of up to S$800 per month for 3 months. Maximum grant payout at S$2,400
- Those on pay cuts will receive up to S$500 for three months. Maximum grant payout at S$1,500
When And How To Apply?
The application starts from the 4th May 2020 for those that are on no pay leave and lost their jobs.
For those who are on pay cuts can apply from 11 May 2020.
