UPSIDE-DOWN MAN IN HDB VENT CHARGED WITH PUBLIC NUISANCE

The man who was seen stuck and hanging upside down inside a vent on the ceiling of a HDB void deck in Pasir Ris, has since been charged with public nuisance.

According to 8world, the man is 45-year-old Muhammad Nazir Bin Ahmad, and he was arrested at Block 469 Pasir Ris Drive 6 on 23 April, at about 11.26pm.

He was arrested for allegedly using a pair of scissors to knock on a window along the corridor, causing a nuisance to the public.

In the video that was shared online on 25 April, the man was seen writhing while stuck halfway inside the vent and dangling upside down.

It is unclear how he managed to get himself into the vent or where he crawled from, and he was heard shouting as a group of police officers gathered around the bootleg Spider-Man.

For public nuisance, Nazir faces a fine of up to $2,000 and/or a jail term of up to 3 months if he is found guilty.
