At first I thought maybe they dropped something heavy. Then came the TAK TAK TAK TAK TAK and full-on BZZZZZZZZZZT. My wall art literally shaking. My dog scared until hiding under the sofa.
I was so pissed I ran upstairs in my home shorts and slippers to confront them. Guess what the owner told me with a straight face?
“Eh brother, sorry ah, but my Fengshui Master calculated my Bazi and said tonight 11pm to 1am is the ONLY Golden Hour this month to kickstart the reno work, if not my wealth luck will be blocked for 10 years.”

I asked him if his Fengshui Master also calculated that HDB regulations say NO NOISY RENOVATION WORK AFTER 6 PM ON WEEKDAYS AND NO WORK ON WEEKENDS AT ALL?!

I straight away told him if he don’t stop in 5 minutes, I calling police and reporting to HDB/Town Council immediately with video proof. He finally told his contractor guys to pack up, but the fker had the nerve to tsk at me like I was the unreasonable one ruining his life destiny.
Honestly, some Singaporeans really next level selfish. Use religion and Fengshui as an excuse to be a menace to society. If your Master say 3 AM is Golden Hour to jump off the block, you also go jump is it?
Anyone else experienced this kind of crazy neighbor before? HDB really needs to fine these people heavy heavy, if not they think keying in contractor permits gives them license to behave like monkey. End up tonight I so agitated cannot sleep anyway. KNN.
