
On Monday 22 February 2021, the start of COVID-19 vaccination starts in Singapore for the elderly above 70 years-old.

Ministry of Health (MOH) said that the elderly are at higher risk of getting the virus and harder for them to recover thus they have been prioritized for vaccination.
The elderly will be asked to nearby polyclinics or vaccination centres so it will be more convenient for them.
For the next 6 months at least, the vaccination centre will be operating and they will be able to help 2,000 people a day per centre.
During the end of next month, March, elderly aged between 60 – 69 will have their turn to be vaccine.
