VAN LEFT STUCK AGAINST TREE AFTER ACCIDENT

A dramatic accident occurred on June 1 along the East Coast Parkway (ECP) in Singapore, leaving a van stuck vertically against a tree.

According to the police, they were alerted to the accident at 7:50pm, and investigations are currently underway.

The van is believed to have skidded along the ECP towards the Marina Coastal Expressway before crashing into the tree.

The 50-year-old male driver of the van was taken to Changi General Hospital conscious, according to the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

A shocking photo posted on social media shows the extent of the damage, with the van stuck against the tree, its front end facing downwards.

The cause of the accident is still unknown, and the police are continuing to investigate the incident.
