The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) will be suspending the hawker food stall Choo Zai Zhai Vegetarian at Blk 79A Circuit Road, for a period of 2 weeks, from July 22 to August 4.

The licensee has accumulated 12 demerit points over a 12-month period.
They were also fined $800 for:
- Failure to keep licensed premises free of cockroach infestation. (First time)
- Failure to keep licensed premises free of cockroach infestation. (Second time)

Licensees who accumulate 12 or more demerit points during a 12 month period may have his/her license suspended for either 2 or 4 weeks, or cancelled.
All food handlers will be subject to attending and passing the Basic Food Hygiene Course again before they will be allowed to resume work handling food.
