VETERAN ACTOR MAK HO WAI PASSED AWAY AT AGE OF 76

The actor famous for his role as “Lao Hero” in the 90s Singapore sitcom “Don’t Worry Be Happy” Mak Ho Wai passed away at the age of 76.

The former Hong Kong TVB actor who migrated to Singapore is believed to die of Leukaemia.

His friend stated on social media

“I would like to thank everyone for your concern for the family. Our dear friend, Mr. Mak Ho Wai , passed away peacefully at home last night. Mak Haowei loved his family all his life and was a good husband and father. He loved his friends and more A good actor. We lost another good friend. Good way to go.”

Veteran actor Xia Yu was very saddened by the bad news. He described Mai Hao as a good friend who could make deep friends, and he was definitely a 100% good father and husband to his wife and daughter.
