Mediacorp veteran host, Quan Yifeng posted on Instagram a lengthy goodbye post, bidding her two-storey home in Siglap goodbye.
Speculation is rife on the internet about whether she is leaving Singapore and showbiz for good.
In her post’s caption, she compared herself to a “nomad” who spent three decades wandering the country without a home, before she finally found one that gave her the “sweetest and happiest period” of her life.
She added that just when she thought she could settle down, a new journey has surfaced for her to explore different cultures and experience a different way of life, getting used to the air in another city.
Quan thanked her old home for providing her with warmth and shelter, hoping that “the next owner can experience the same happiness and health here”.
Yifeng went on to express her gratitude to her old home, thanking it for the warmth and shelter it provided her and Eleanor. “I hope the next owner will get to experience the same happiness and health here.”
When asked if she’s moving to China by netizens, she replied: “For now, not yet.”
She also reassured people that she is just “moving house”.
