VETERAN S’PORE ACTOR TANG HU DEAD AT AGE 84, DIED PEACEFULLY ON HIS LUNAR B’DAY

Veteran Singaporean actor Tang Hu, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 84. His daughter Jes Tand described his death as being sudden, but he appeared to be at peace when he died, according to The Straits Times.

Tang Hu’s Illness and Hospitalization

Tang Hu had been battling diabetes for an extended period. The night of Nov 8 marked a critical turn when he was hospitalized due to inflammation in one of his left toes. Notably, he had already undergone the amputation of his right leg below the knee in 2021.

Despite appearing stable during his hospital stay, Tang Hu slipped into a coma following a cardiac arrest around 10 am on the same day. Coincidentally, he passed away on his lunar calendar birthday, leaving a sense of unexpected timing to his departure.
