Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat has announced that beginning on 1st July 2017. The prices of water will increase by 30%!!!! The 30% will be increased gradually over 2 years.

The minister said that the 30% increase is for the rising cost of supplying and producing water. The money will be used to invest our water infrastructure when necessary
