A netizen shared how his wife accused him of cheating after his female boss sent him gifts for their newborn baby.
Here is the story
My daughter was born in September and my boss recently returned from dealing with some things overseas for several months.
She gave me a gift set for our baby containing lots of baby clothes and shoes.
This is not anything special that was done for me alone, she also did the same for my male coworker when he became a dad a couple years ago and three of our female coworkers when they became mothers.
I took the gift set home and was super grateful, thinking my wife would be thrilled.
Instead she flipped out and accused me of cheating. I have not a single clue where any of this came from.
My wife said my boss obviously sent that because we are ‘close’. She said I must be sleeping with my boss for her to spend that money on our baby.
I explained it was nothing special and she did it for all the coworkers in our little department but she ignored that.
What do I do? Any insight on where this might be coming from?
