After a wild night of drinking, I made the mistake of welcoming my best friend into a three some with my husband and I. At first it was one of those whoa that was wild moments but then it continued to happen.
About two weeks ago, I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right based on her behavior. She seemed to be always coming around almost everyday and flirting with him in no direct ways.
I relayed to my husband that I had a feeling she liked him. He responded with, yeah maybe that’s why she has been acting all weird in front of me.
Well, last weekend, we had a girls trip and she got extremely hammered. I had no clue that she was communicating with my husband behind my back.
She was bad mouthing me and spreading lies about how unhappy I was and complaining about our bedroom activities (which I never discussed with her) and he believed her.
He was so upset at hearing this that he told her how I had mentioned that I thought she liked him. That opened up hell. She held that info for about 3 hours until she blurted it out “so you think I have a crush on your husband? I thought we were friends. I thought you could come to me about this” on and on and on.
She was really affected by this. I was too upset (with my husband) to respond to her so I put a wall up and didn’t respond or look at her. She did her usual thing which is okay victim and stupidly drive drunk at 3am all the way home.
2 days later I come to find out by looking thru my husbands phone that my gut feeling was absolutely correct. She had been texting my husband. Now, trust me, my husband is also at fault here. But the reason why I’m discussing her end is because she tried to manipulate the situation and lie and say that this never happened when I have the proof.
She wanted so badly to have alone time with him. They even met up one night recently and she got handsy with him as they were saying goodbye.
Then, just last week, I trusted to leave them alone for 20 minutes and he said she tried to go down on him but he stopped her. And when I say tried I mean her mouth was already on it.
She is in full denial and she is upset with me because I called her every name in the book. She states I have no right to do that but that is her way of manipulating the situation.
Long story short, I can’t believe I trusted someone and they went behind my back and did this. I’ve lost every sense of feeling and have no idea what to do next. We have children that I need to consider in whatever outcome I choose.
