WIFE SAYS STRUGGLE TO LOSE WEIGHT GAINED DURING COVID, HUSBAND SAY IF DIVORCE SURE LOSE WEIGHT

During covid, I gained weight and have struggled with depression since.

My work is very stressful and in many instances increased my feelings of depression of which my husband doesn’t want to listen to. I have never wanted to have my husband be part of my get-healthy plans because I don’t want an incredibly personal relationship to judge me for not following through.

In the last two months, I have started cooking at home again. In the last two weeks, I made a mental shift and started going on 5km hikes over the weekends and working out again.

Tonight after not eating anything all day, I ate dinner (two bowls of lettuce with light Italian dressing, and roast beef on a single bun). Because I had fasted for 20 hours I then had some Ramen and a curry puff.

I walked 13000 steps at work and then worked out doing intense cardio yoga for 40 minutes and my husband shamed me for eating the Raman and the hot pocket after dinner. When I told him that was uncalled for he told me that he was mad because if we got divorced I would have no problem losing weight.

I was dumbfounded and did not know what to respond.

I don’t know if he is saying it for real or taunting me to quickly lose weight, or is he finding a woman outside that is not fat?
