On 13/4/17 in an official release in an attempted to bribe three police officers a woman has been arrested by the Singapore Police Force.
As an enticement to let her go when they directed anti-vice operations along Stamford Road at about 3pm on Tuesday the suspect recurrently presented the officers “a sum of money”. Even with the warning that bribery is a serious the suspect did not take heed.
Rejecting the bribes were officers, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Chan Wai Hoong, Station Inspector (SI) Ng Bak Guan and Corporal Ruby Yau from Central Division and had her arrested for trying to bribe a police officer.
The suspect is also being investigated for her suspected involvement in vice activities with the case been referred to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau for investigations.
