A Facebook user shared how she was allegedly told to finish her meal by 9.20pm because the shop she was patronising was closing.
Here is what she said

I placed my order at 2046hrs on Sunday 17 April 2022. Here was how the conversation went down with the counter staff after I have placed the order and made payment.
17/04/2022 At 2046hrs
Cashier guy: you have to finish your meal at 9:20.
Me: Oh, I’ll try. I thought the restaurant closes at 10.00pm.
Cashier guy: Ya, but we also need time to clean up
Me: Okay, we will do our best. It will also depend on when the food is ready though.
(about 5 minutes later, the food was ready, the token rang. So I went up to the counter to collect my food).
Cashier guy: you’ll have to finish it at 9:20 (Showing me the board that they have put, see photo)
Me: Oh, it says 9:30pm here and the opening hours on Google says until 10.00pm. Why are you insisting that we finish at 9:20pm
Cashier guy: We also need time to clean up. You don’t want to be a demanding b—- right?
Me: Did you just call me a b—-?
Cashier guy: You want to hear it again? I am not going to say that.
At that point, the order of my friend at the table was ready, so she came up.
Me: (with trembling voice) You have no right to call me a b!tch. I am your customer. Do you want to apologise?
My friend: I think you should apologise to her.
Cashier guy: I am not going to apologise to her.
Me: Can you let me know your name?
Cashier guy: I cannot tell you my name.
Me: Can I see your manager?
Cashier guy: He’s not around.
(My friend stepped in and insisted that he owes me an apology. By-standers stepped in and insisted that he owes me an apology.)
He apologised, (rolling his eyes). I did not see he rolled his eyes, my friend did so she kept on insisting that his behaviour was not acceptable.
At that point, I stepped away from the counter because I no longer wanted to be infuriated. I have decided to share my story in every platform.
The food was delicious.
But I’m not gonna return. EVER.
