She was seen in the video walking along the corridor of the block before stopping and reaching her hands into the unit, and taking a shoe from inside the home.
She then walked away from the unit, before another cut of the video shows her returning to the unit to get the other shoe.
Potential penalties
The offense of theft under Section 379 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 carries a jail term of up to 3 years, or a fine, or both.
