A netizen, 김은지, shared how she bought a massage gun from an online shop via Lazada, and the device then caught fire after charging.
She added that her table, shelf and wooden floor were all burnt in the incident, where she put out the fire herself.
Here is what she said
Red Massage Gun product bought from online Lazada platform caught fire and burnt after charging – including my table, shelf and Wood floor (See picture).
It could have burnt the whole house, luckily I was there to put out the fire fast. This is a serious matter and totally unacceptable. See pictures for aftermath of the incident.
This is really dangerous and I hope everyone takes note and be very careful when it comes to buying electronic items.
There is even danger signs of fire danger. This product really seems dangerous. Do not use.
Bought from Lazada but it seems my review was taken down (?) I can’t find my review as it says review has expired.
Asked Lazada Support for help on compensation for the damage but they ignored my question and just asked me to ask for.refund.
Note:
– Seller did process a refund for the item however the damage was already done.
