A Facebook user, Veron Ng, shared how she boarded a bus from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.
She said that she has vision problems and couldn’t see the bus number clearly, so she then asked the bus driver what was the bus number.
The bus driver then allegedly scolded her in Chinese, saying: “YOU BLIND AH, CANNOT SEE FOR YOURSELF?”
Here is what she said
bus captain don’t have name tag for me to take down her name! Long hair woman in her 40s or so. I took photo of her back. Scared become public ugly scene if she see me does that.
I am totally shocked by her rude attitude. I board the bus at Pasir Ris bus interchange. She was abt to drive off. So I have to run, flag for her attn n quickly board.
There was bus 68. N 88. I didn’t wear spec. Got “san Guang” Cannot see properly the light on the bus. I just want to make sure I board the correct bus 88. I asked her this is bus 88 right.
Never expect she shouted at me in Mandain. Until all the passengers looking at me! Like I bully her! All heads look at me as she scold me in chinese. U BLIND AH. CANNOT SEE FOR URSELF? YOU YOUNG GAL LEH. NOT OLD PEOPLE!
Damn embarrassing for me! I said softly. I need to make sure I board the correct bus. She scold me loud again! U FLAG FOR MY BUS. RUNNING TO BOARD IT. U TELL ME U CANNOT SEE SUCH BIG NO PLATE??!!!! Omg! This is totally humiliating?!!
I had to quickly say sorry n hide myself.
I only see viral video on passenger scolding bus driver n pity them. Never expect the other way round for me.
Seriously I cannot see the neon bet 68 & 88. I just run for the booth. As I admit. I can be blur at times.
She just start her journey. Not like as if she aldy had a long journey. Totally shock beyond words.
