Getting to know people online might be the best technology in the 21st century but there are always two sides to a coin.
A Singapore Uncensored reader sends in the details of her friend who was scammed.
The victim met the man on one of the dating platforms and she was recently scammed after she was promised cash after arranging to meet a man at a hotel which later turned out a shophouse.
The victim’s friend shared the story
“WQ” promised her an allowance of $4000 SGD after they had done the deed. He also asked for her paynow number for the transfer, but unfortunately. He has gone MIA & blocked my friend off from the website. No money has been given as well.
I’m telling you, my friend say that he looks 200% diff from his picture. He actually quite fat irl….. but she just brushed it off. As her family needed money. Due to debt.
