A 35-year-old woman was found with her throat slit on a farm in Johor, and she was still alive when the owner of the farm found her after passing by, according to Sin Chew Daily.
She had her young son beside her at the time who was covered in blood, and the farm owner then ran off to find help but the woman eventually died.
The farm owner told Sin Chew Daily that he was on his way home at about 7.30pm when he saw a young boy standing beside a motorcycle.
He thought that someone’s motorcycle had toppled over and he went over to take a look, and that was when he found the woman lying on the side of the road with her throat cut open.
The deceased couldn’t speak but gestured to him to get help, while her 5-year-old son stood next to her in shock, according to Oriental Daily.
The child is believed to have witnessed the attack on his mother.
The farm owner then went to get help from a security guard nearby and waited at the booth for the police to arrive before leaving the scene.
However, he was later informed that the woman had died and he then went to the police station to record his statement.
The locals in the area said that the deceased bred cattle at the farm, and was on her way home when the attack took place, according to Oriental Daily.
Ahmad Zamry Marinsah, the police chief of Segamat, said that the police are investigating the incident and declined to comment further.
