A woman who gave a shoutout to Ya Kun Kaya Toast during the National Day Parade on Tuesday, reached out to her following her shout-out to them during the live broadcast.
24-year-old Nicole Liel, was picked out by the show’s host Rishi Budhrani, who asked her what she was grateful for in Singapore.
She answers that she was very grateful to HDB for giving her a BTO queue number, as she growled into the mic, before adding “and Ya Kun Kaya Toast”.
The video clips of her “interview” at the show quickly went viral, and Ya Kun then reached out to her via Instagram, asking her if she was interested in 57-cups of coffee as a form of appreciation.
