A woman on Facebook posted a photo of a car that’s parked in front of her own, saying that she couldn’t drive out of her lot because there was “very little room”.
She said that she went to ask the driver of the car in front, who was eating at a coffeeshop beside, to move his car a little but was shouted at by the man.
The man had apparently told her to just reverse her car, but the woman said that “it seems very tight”, to which the man then called her out for having poor driving skills.
She said in her caption “so what if I have bad driving skills?” and added that the man eventually relented and move his car slightly so that she could drive out.
Here is what she said
I need to rant. So this morning I went to killiney ntuc and parallel park along the road. Got lucky so managed to park at the first lot.
There was a park that came later and parked behind me. When I was walking back to my car after my errands, I saw a car parking in front of my car when the whole line of parking lots behind was empty. I signalled to him that I was leaving so he could have my lot.
Guess what. He ignored me, parked his car in front of my car very near and then went to the coffee shop beside to eat breakfast.
Long story short, I went to him nicely and asked if he could move his car a little as there was very little room for me to manoeuvre.
he immediately shouted at me and asked me to reverse. I said I tried but seems very tight. He continued shouting that I had poor driving skills.
it was embarrassing as it was 6plus in the morning and frankly, so what if I have bad driving skills? he eventually moved his car very slightly after.
OK enough ranting- my question- am I being petty after all?Â
