Facebook user Yee En Lai shared how she hired a company for their painting services, and the resulting works turned out to be below par.
She said that the works were supposed to be finished in one day but the workers couldn’t complete it within the timeframe, and there were paint splotches across her unit, including on her leather sofa.
She also added that the company allegedly ignored her requests for corrective and touch up work.
Here is what she said
NIGHTMARE!!! I do not make noise on social media – for the 1st time, I need to as the business owners, have gone too far!
Engaged *company name redacted* for painting services and it turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE! Painting work was supposed to finish in ONE DAY, but the incompetent workers failed to complete. Only painting but the mess created looks as if I am renovating my 4-rm flat.
I am super disappointed that the company ignored my requests for corrective and touch up work. None of my concerns raised was being addressed. A few to name:
1) Used a dirty, old & rusty recycle tin for the NEW COLOURED paint. The business owner even said it is a clean & washed PAIL. OMG!!
2) Workers locked bedroom doors when painting. NOT ONCE but TWICE and subsequently closed doors!
3) Basic painting is to tape the edge, but they did not. Paint stains on floor tiles, cabinets, sofa, fan, wardrobe and worst, paint stuck on NEW AIRCON installed for only a few days!! SHAME ON THEM!!
4) Release customer’s address to a 3rd party without seeking consent. MAJOR CONCERN & yet the company did not provide an explanation as requested.
They do NOT feel apologetic at all!!
NO MORE 2nd chance given for being:
– Irresponsible & dishonest
– ZERO Integrity & business ethic
– Inexperienced “painters” with horrible workmanship
– Unprofessional, immature, and childish behaviour
