A horrific murder occurred early this morning (17th Feb) and a man was suspected of stabbing a woman. The woman died due to her severe injuries. There were large bloodstains on the bottom of the HDB block due to the stabbing.

Police forensics were seen at the scene.
The murder occurred at block 308 of Jurong East Street 32.
According to nearby residents, the police arrived at the scene at midnight and evacuated after securing the area for nearly 9 hours.
The Civil Defense stated that they were notified at 12:05 and the 2 people were sent to the hospital.
It is understood that the female victim in her 30s was killed due to the stabbing.
