A Singaporean family from Sengkang reportedly kept having their slippers (or rather, one side of their slippers) stolen.
The incident first occured at the end of last year (2020).
Amirah and her family were confused because only one side of the slippers was stolen; surely a thief would’ve stolen both sides for their own use? Or could it be the thief only had one leg?
And so they figured a cleaner must’ve accidentally swept it away.
However, the “thefts” occurred again and again, with only one side being stolen each time.
Amirah also noted that the thief had a taste for the branded, only stealing Adidas, Vans and Pumas.
The identity of the thief was finally revealed after the fourth incident when their CCTV footage captured the act.
Turns out, it was a furry little critter, a ginger-white cat that stole their slippers; much to Amirah and her family’s amusement.
A video posted by her showed the little kitty strolling past her home and leaving the scene with a slipper in its mouth.
Amirah shared that her family burst out laughing when they finally realised who has been stealing from them.
LOL!
