A video emerged online showing a woman walking right in the middle of the carpark, in front of a car that was trying to drive on.
The driver then lightly tapped on the horn to alert the woman, but the woman then turned around to flash a middle finger at the driver.
The woman was also seen with her mask not being worn properly, and under her nose.
The incident happened at the carpark of Kallang Wave Mall, and was captured on the driver’s dashcam, and the driver captioned the video, saying:
“Encountered a really rude and self-centred woman at Kallang Wave Mall this morning.
As she was walking in the middle of the road, I gave the horn a light tap to alert her. Instead of moving to the side, she turned around and gave me the middle finger not once but twice.
She can’t even wear her mask properly as well. What’s wrong with people nowadays?”
Potential penalties
Persons caught not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly can be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.
Penalties include a fine of up to SGD$10,000 and jailed for up to six months.
