My sister slapped me because her husband complimented my dress.
Me f17 and my sister f27 aren’t very close. there’s always been lots of jealousy issues growing up and she always seemed resentful of me for some reason.
She’s married to her husband Tom (31) who’s a sweet guy and very funny. He loves complimenting everyone and brings a positive vibe to the family.
Days ago. My sister and Tom visited my parents home for a celebratory dinner (mom’s birthday) and Tom complimented my rose colored dress and said it looked nice on me.
I figured that it was no big deal since he complimented my dad’s tie as well. But apparently, my sister was upset.
She pulled me in a room then slapped me across the face out of the blue. I could not even move from the shock but she told me that I shouldn’t be wearing this stuff like that infront of her husband and accused me of doing it deliberately to get comments and that she was tired of telling me that.
I was shocked beyond believe. She immediately exited the room and I broke down crying later after the initial shock. wore off.
That was after dinner. She acted like nothing happened and was smiling at me from a distance.
