A 48-year-old woman was found lying motionless in a forested area along Upper Bukit Timah Road on 19 December.
According to The Straits Times, the deceased was a woman named Melita Dollah and she had died after a concrete slab fell on her opposite Bukit Timah Hill, on the state land near Bukit Batok Nature Park.
The woman’s body was discovered by the authorities.
The Singapore Police said that they were alerted to the incident on 19 December at around 12.42 pm and the woman was unconscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The SCDF also said that they received a call for help at Bukit Timah Hill.
The police said that based on preliminary findings, they do not suspect foul play and that investigations are ongoing.
