Here is the story:

(Translated from Mandarin)

“This is my Singapore UOB Bank Debit Card being hacked!

The reason why I’m sharing this is to spread awareness and alert others to pay attention to their bank accounts if they are missing any money.

On 27 and 28 December 2021, because I was busy with work, I didn’t pay attention to my bank account transactions and monetary deductions.

I only noticed the money missing on 19 January earlier this year.

I called the UOB hotline and the agent told me that the debit card was used by an unauthorized user and that the bank will return the money to me within a week.”
