A video of a woman quarrelling with her neighbour over the burning of incense paper is circulating on social media.
From the video, the woman was seen arguing with a family who was burning incense paper as an offering for their prayers under an HDB block. The woman was heard saying that she was affected by the smoke which was caused by the burning of the incense paper.
She has requested her neighbour not burn so much of the incense paper as she said that burning more incense paper doesn’t show that u are respectful.
The noise of the argument has even alerted some of the resident staying at the block. The man who took the video was one of the few affected by her loud voice. Upon knowing the situation, he urged the unreasonable woman to be respectful to the practice of other religion as the neighbour did not do anything wrong while they were burning the incense paper at designation area allocated by HDB.
