A Facebook user, Hazel Lim, shared her alleged “bad experience” at a local Korean restaurant.
She said that her 2-year-old child had dropped some food on the floor and she was asked to use a tissue to clean up the dropped food before she left the restaurant.
She then asked if she should charge them “5 % service fee” for cleaning up.
Here is what she said
Bad experience at *name withheld* Korean Restaurant!
First time eating out with kid need to clean floor!!
Bring my kid to eat, being less than 2 yrs old, she fed herself and dropped some food on the floor. I was asked to clear and clean up using the tissue on the table provided before I leave..
Was upset and reluctant but comply. Was being charged 10% service fee.. should I charge them 5% service fee for cleaning up..
Eat at coffeeshop only clear plates No Need clean the floor. I have seen people at restaurants or food court dropped a plate of food or drinks, the service people cleaned it up without asking customer to clean.
Is like going to hair salon cut hair and need to pick up my hair.. But if I drop food in hair salon, I will sure to pick it up.
