A Facebook user, Kim Kim, alleged that a hospital staff was rude to her “seven early eight early in the morning”.
She said that she Googled for their contact number and it was stated that it was a 24-hour General Enquiries Hotline.
Here is what she said
Seven early eight early in the morning kena scolded by one very rude staff. Your number came up when I googled for your company stating that it is 24 hours General Enquiries hotline so I call lo.
If people called you wrongly can just inform them, no need to be so rude to tell people off.
Then you also have to check your backside/website when you said there are separate numbers available on your website for different functions.
As a matter of fact, only your number is stated and since you are being asked to station there so be polite and refer people to the correct avenues is also part of your job bah.
Though people said that medical staff are under stress during this pandemic, so are the patients and their caregivers.
Moreover, to be frank, certain medical staff including doctors are si nan during this pandemic while enjoying the benefits of peoples’ respect for their job positions and during this pandemic yet no need to face the covid fire like their co-colleagues cos they are in different fields/departments.
I have heard rumours about this since the pandemic started and seen doctors knocking off at around 4pm/4.30pm.
