Hi, im not sure if anyone else faced the same issue as me with Shopee
I ordered an item on 20th Dec and 1 week ago, the status got changed to “Delivered” when the item isn’t even delivered. I contacted Shopee a twice, first time they say they would check and get back, but to no avail.
Today when I asked, they say it was a system glitch and that the parcel is still on the way and it is not possible to issue any refunds or revert the item status back to in transit.
However, because status is already changed to delivered due to their “glitch”, money has been released.
They asked me to wait till 19th February before I can raise a case of refund as it is still within transit period (even though Shopee system changed my status to delivered).
So basically they are holding on to my money for (by 19th feb) almost 2 months and sure, one consumer’s money isn’t a lot.
But if this is ongoing for even 10% of their users, can you imagine how much money they’re holding on to?
I’m posting to see if anyone shares the same experience as me and if so, please comment/PM me and i will consolidate and bring this up to Consumers Association of Singapore – CASE .
