A disgruntled customer took to Facebook to share her experience buying a sofa and shoe cabinet from Nova Furnishing Pte Ltd.
Serene Vann Chua shared how she ordered a sofa and shoe cabinet from the abovemention company, and the shoe cabinet arrived at her home on time, at about 6pm.
However, about the sofa that she ordered, she was told that the delivery person would be late, so she waited…
And waited…
And waited…
And waited…
Until about 7 hours later, at about 2am, her sofa finally arrived.
She claimed that the delivery staff made so much noise outside her house that her neighbour had to open his/her door to check what all the commotion was about.
She alleged that she was told that the delivery would be from 6pm to 9pm, before she was updated that the delivery would be from 9pm to 11pm.
She then said that the delivery person called her at 12.07am and told her that he needed 45 minutes to come.
She also added that the delivery person didn’t appologise and even raised his voice at her on the phone.
The delivery person explained that he needed a longer time to deliver the sofa because his vehicle broke down, but Chua questioned the need for 4.5 hours to send the sofa over.
