A netizen shared how she visited a stall at Kovan Hawker Center to buy some mutton soup and paid for it using her CDC vouchers.

She said that the hawker allegedly refused to give her the packed food, and told her that she didn’t receive any credit on her end.
The netizen added that the auntie also allegedly refused to show her the past transaction history on her device, and she ended up having $7 deducted for nothing.

If CDC escalates the matter I am pretty sure this Aunt will act blur again but with the incriminating evidence I doubt she can pull it off twice haha. - I don’t know why they chose to sign up as a Vendor for CDC voucher then? Or is it a must?

- Had a similar incident happen to me but it was with PayLah at Bedok. Instead, I pulled out my phone, launched voice recording, placed it infront of the aunty and told the Aunty don’t mind I record our conversation so I can get the bank to look into the issue to help us both resolve the payment and I won’t block the queue. Could visually see the aunty face turn black and she suddenly say “OH PAYMENT GO THROUGH ALREADY”.
Afterwards learnt that the stall was notorious for pulling stunts like this. After that incident the owners used black marker to colour some parts of the QR code making it unusable. Heard some uncle got angry and brought down cleaning Alcohol to wipe the QR code before scanning and a fight ensued - OP please report this to police. The aunty (believe is the hawker’s extended family) always act blur and a few times short changed people on purpose but she seems like she did it intentionally
