A video emerged online showing a woman engaging in a heated argument with the workers at Al-Jilani Restaurant along Bencoolen on 7 October at about 2 am.
The crux of the argument lay in the implementation of a $15 cleaning fee, after the woman’s drunken friend had allegedly vomited inside the eatery’s premises.
“What you mean by $15?”
The woman refused to pay the cleaning fee and was seen in the video that she “would rather have a lawsuit”, as she questioned the workers “what you mean by $15?”
“I’d rather lawsuit… I’m reporting you. You can’t just charge me $15,” she exclaimed, as she further demanded to see the shop’s “terms and conditions”.
The netizen who posted the video of the incident, @valeroee, captioned her video and described what was going on: “her intoxicated friend puked at this prata place and she refused to pay the $15 fee for cleaning, asking the staff ‘what if someone has diarrhea here and cannot control, are you even a human?”
