I resigned from my job because I can’t stand hearing my colleague’s constant burping. I can’t remember what’s his condition all about. Something like IBS or gastritis I guess.
Yes, he can’t control it. No, I don’t hate him. But, I can’t stand it anymore. Every day, ever since he joins the company months ago, I had to endure hearing it. Earphones doesn’t help cause it’s so loud and constant I can feel the vibration on my table from it. Yes. That bad.
So, enough is enough. Since its not his fault, and he can’t control it, I decided to quit cause that’s what I can control. I immediately resign with 24 hours notice. And when my boss asked why, I simply say looking for another opportunity. I’m not lying, cause I was looking for another opportunity to NOT hear this constant burping. I love the company, but, too bad. I gotta go.
