WOMAN SPOTTED NOT WEARING MASK PROPERLY ON MRT

A video of a woman not wearing a mask properly while on the train is circulating on social media.

From the video, the woman was seen talking to a man in front of her while her mask was below her chin. In view of the pandemic, her action is totally unacceptable. For the safety of her own and other around her, she should have worn her mask properly.

According to the temporary COVID-19 act, all residents are required to put on a mask while we are outside of our residences and no one is allowed to talk on public transport as part of the measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 via droplets in an enclosed place.

Under the temporary COVID-19 act, anyone who was caught not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly will be fine $300. For repeat offender will be fine $1,000
