Farhana Mohamed Suwati, 31-year-old, pleaded guilty on Wednesday (21 April) to a charge each of mischief and using insulting behavior with intent to cause distress.
A third charge will be considered during sentencing.
Farhana had wanted to scare and warn her neighbour because she thought he had molested her in early 2019.
So one night, on May 2020, she placed raw beef at his doorstep and shouted “wei” before leaving, but she ended up causing distress to the man’s mother who doesn’t eat beef.
The victims were a 48-year-old man and his 79-year-old mother.
The old woman was at home when the incident happened and was angry and distressed because she did not eat of touch beef.
Their relative then made a police report about their neighbour throwing something at the flat, highlighting that they had “history before this”.
On 10 September 2020, Farhana went to the victims’ home and hurled vulgarities at them, before removing 5 aluminium window panels and 3 metal rods from the victims’ living room window and threw then inside their flat.
It was apparently because she heard a cough from the victims’ flat, and she was “easily annoyed by noises and would explode in anger.
Farhana will be sentenced in May after the judge called for a report assessing her suitability for mandatory treatment order.
