WOMAN WENT TO RICH COUPLE’S HUGE $3M HOME – “I WISH I MARRIED SOMEONE RICH”

I wish I’d married someone rich

Advertisements

Not because we don’t have money. I run a successful business, but I’m never allowed to use the money to buy the things that make me happy.

If I’d married someone who was rich, they probably wouldn’t care. I have to go to a bday tomorrow of a couple who live in a single income household but own a $3m house.

And it burns me because I could have things I like too. It’s not that I’m trying to compete. I’m just mad that I can’t have things that make me happy. I just want someone to understand how I feel.

  1. What do you mean you’re not allowed? What happens if you spend your own money? How is he stopping you?
  2. If it’s your money, you should be able to spend it. For me, as long as it won’t put you in financial trouble, go use your money however you please.
  3. At least you know some things that make you happy, some people can’t be happy even with a billion dollars
  4. My millionaire aunt is the most tight fisted person I know with money.
To the point of hanging teabags on a washing line and 2 people using same bath water in her house.
Grass isn’t always greener is my point.
  5. Saying you wish you married someone rich rather than saying you wish your husband was rich tells a lot actually.
  6. I’m sorry just reading ur post stresses me out if I was in ur position I would flat out tell him its my money I will use it as I see fit if he doesn’t like it there’s the door go somewhere else and tell a woman how to spend her money I was in a dv relationship for 6 years and this brought back memories although I worked and had to give all my money to ex and his mom
  7. The title should have said “I wish I never married my husband” or “I wish I could divorce him”. Marrying someone rich or poor doesn’t really matter if you make your own money.
