WOMAN’S KANASAI NEW WASHING MACHINE BREAK DOWN 8 TIMES IN 2 YEARS, HELPLESS

Facebook user Chloe Lim Wei Wei shared about her new washing machine from Samsung that broke down repeatedly, resulting in Samsung’s technicians making at least 8 trips to her home to fix the issue, which ranged from a water drainage problem that flooded her house, to a drum issue that resulted in loud banging noises from the machine.

Here is what she said

I bought a new Samsung Washing Machine and Dryer. In the short span of less than 2 years, Samsung’s technicians have made at least 8 trips to my house.

First, it was the water drainage problem of the washing machine. My ID and plumber have repeatedly checked to confirm it was not their piping or plumbing issue yet the washing machine caused a flood in the kitchen thrice and another flood to the entire house.

Then the panel is faulty, so the technician came twice before they changed the “motherboard”.

Finally, it is the drum issue. There is loud banging noise before the episode turned into a shaky washing machine when we use it. It took them two to three trips to confirm the drum is faulty.

So the technician told me to wait for a phone call from Samsung to arrange for bringing it back to repair and a loan set.

In April, I received a call to say I have to be on the waiting list for the loan set and I was in the queue of less than 10 people. So I agreed to queue.

Fast forward to two months later when my washing machine could no longer work anymore, I was told there is still no loan set. And the parts for the drum are not in yet.

Even if they bring it back for repair there is no timeline as to when my washing machine can be repaired.

After giving a chaser call (two to three times a day), one week later I am still waiting. I request a replacement NEW set or store credit to change out this faulty machine. I was told to wait for a phone call as their management need time to escalate.

From April till now, I believe I was truly patient with them and the numerous problems this washing machine had given me.

It is unfair for me to be waiting for no solution and thrown in the inconvenience of no washing machine. This is the worse customer service and product anyone could deal with!
