A facebook user shared how an old friend of hers that she knew since secondary school, borrowed $5,000 from her and went MIA after that.
She tried to go to her friend’s home to ask for her money back, but the friend’s mother told her “it’s (her) daughter’s issue, not her problem”.
Here is what she said
A good friend of mine *name redacted* borrowed 5k from me n have gone MIA. After so many attempts of going up her house to ask for my money back in the end her mom just told us that her daughter issue is not her problem .
But it doesnt mean that you dont have to pay what you owe me . Its $5000 Sgd leh . Its not a small amount for me also plus i also got my own baby to feed .
I trusted her since we knew each other ever since Secondary school but what really disappoint me is when she doesnt even bother to give me a proper repayment plan or reply my message .
I also realised that i am not the only one who fall for this . I guess there is many close friend of her who borrowed her money that cannot get back.
Please DO NOT FALL FOR THIS ANYMORE . We have to stop this before more people fall into her trap . If anyone is still in contact with her please get her to text or call me thank you so much
