This comes in the wake of the WP’s 2-hour emergency meeting after the emergence of the video, that was attended by 13 members of their Central Executive Committee (CEC), which included former WP chief Low Thia Khiang.

Seah and Perera were notable absentees from the meeting, which was held at the WP’s party headquarters in Geylang on Monday night (17 July).

Shin Min Daily News reported that Low had arrived to the HQ at about 9.32pm and brushed off reporters’ questions, before Sengkang GRC MP Jamus Lim arrived about 3 minutes later, telling reporters that he was only there for a meeting.

WP chief Pritam Singh then later arrived at the HQ at about 9.36pm before the meeting started, and he then left the building at about 11.28pm after the meeting, followed by the rest of the CEC members.
