Jamus Lim and team from the Worker’s Party garnered 52.13 per cent of the votes from Sengkang residents which means that this is the first time in Singapore politics history that an opposition has won two GRCs.

The Workers Party team whose members consisted of He Tingru, James Lim, Louis Chua and Raeesah Khan gave thanks to supporters through their respective thank you speeches after the results were finalized.
Jamus started off his speech by showing the Korean “finger hearts” sign.
“Thank you so much for the trust and the leap of faith you have taken in our team here today. We will work hard to make sure this trust is not misplaced,” He said.
He gave thanks and expressed his appreciation to the young voters who took faith in him and his team.
