Worker’s Party’s Sylvia Lim took to Facebook to thank all voters for their confidence in WP’s young leaders.

“Post GE Day 2, a short note for now.
A Vote for an Open, Equal Society. That’s the optimism I take away from GE2020. Voters have shown their independence of mind to envision a better Singapore.
I’m greatly encouraged by the voters’ confidence in WP’s younger leaders, which enabled us to perform creditably in Punggol West, East Coast and Marine Parade, and to win in Hougang, Aljunied and Sengkang. WP will continue to play its role to build a stronger Singapore.
Having walked this journey for nearly 20 years, I can see a blinding light at the end of the tunnel. A part of me is overwhelmed. Thank you, Singaporeans.”
