My girl and her classmate went to Macdonald’s at Khatib for lunch and placed their order and paid at 12.30pm. However at 1.45pm, they had not received their order.

They approached the staff at the counter total of 3 times and was told to wait and wait and wait. As they had to go back to school for lessons, they left Macdonalds without the food.
When my girl told me they had left, I insisted they go back to Mac and show them the receipt and ask for their food.
Finally at 1.55pm mac passed them their food. A 1.5 hrs wait even during lunch time is not acceptable. I have called in and requested for a call back for them to explain the long waiting time.
MacDonalds pls give a reasonable explanation.

- I dont like the new q-ing system..public dont get to see the volume of orders that the kitchen is handling and it doesnt state the waiting time.
Back in the days, when the orders are handled mostly by staff, u get the feel of the volume as the queue becomes long..and can make the decision to wait or go.. - Approach the manager instead of staff in future. I believe most outlet are understaffing. Anyway its unacceptable.
- More than 15mins wait is considered astronomically long. After-all they are fast food chain and they should serve within 5mins after placing an order.
Did you know that in the past, McDonald will replace their French fries after 3 minutes wait if your burger is not served then. - I once waited 2 hours for my food at Causeway Point mac, went there to order and sat down to wait, 30 mins later dozed off and woke up 1.5 hours later. Went to counter asked them then they start preparing my order.
