PRC visit guide Yang Yin has sprung yet another astonishment on the courts by reporting his choice to concede to misusing $1.1m worth of benefits from a Singaporean old lady.
Amid a prior hearing on 8 Jul, he said he would confess to 2 checks of criminal rupture of trust. In any case, today, when asked by the District Judge to affirm his choice, Yang said through his mediator that he would not confess as there was much proof he had yet to appear.
Yang is blamed for abusing S$500,000 from Mdm Chung Khin Chun in 2010, and another S$600,000 in 2012.
Yang asserts that the cash were all endowments from 89-year-old Mdm Chung Khin Chun in 2010 and 2012. He now guarantees that he told others that he utilized the cash to purchase depictions in order to dodge “envy and prattle”.
