I am dealing with neighbour noise since April 2022
Level 4 just moved in with 5 members.
I stay at Level 5, alone.
Level 6, just happened on the same year that two of the neighbour wives passed away, meaning one unit one occupant.
Every night, I could hear pounding, hammering between 11pm to 2am. 5am – 10am turning on “machine” or “generator” sound, causing my room to vibrate.
When I approached Level 6, the uncle has a habit of doing furniture works, told me it’s not him, it’s level 7. We went up together but Level 7 said it’s not them.
I asked the neighbour next to him, he said it’s not him either. The other time, he was doing construction, the noise came to my wall.
I thought it was Level 4, they agreed to go to CMC but its really not them.
I called HDB many times, they are not doing anything. Their work hours 9am to 6pm, anything after 10.30pm, they only advice to call the police. When Police came, they can’t hear anything because the noise is intermittent between 11pm to 2am.
For the “machine” or “generator” sound, HDB came and said they couldn’t hear anything. Eventually they said it’s the fan and has asked the uncle to service the fan. To date, the sound continues…
Please anyone can help, what to do?
Anyone has any suggestion on who the culprit is because I work early in the morning…. It has been affecting my sleep very badly.
