A video surfaced online showing a young punk, who was working at a shopping mall entrance checking people’s temperatures and safe-entry check ins, allegedly challenging an old man to a 1 on 1 fight because the uncle scanned the wrong QR code.
The poster of the video, Susan Leong, shared that the old man wanted to do some last minute grocery shopping for CNY and he was following behind his wife into the mall.
The young punk, who was looking down at the table and playing with his phone the whole time, then looked up and asked to check the check-in screen of the old man.
To which the old man asked which QR code should he scan?
The young punk then raised his voice and told the old man to scan the QR code on the automated door, which the uncle attempted to but he couldn’t find the code to scan.
The old man then saw a QR code on the table, which was being covered by the young punk’s phone as he was playing his game, and he wanted to scan that code.
To which the young punk remarked sarcastically:
Is it you too long stay at home never go shopping mall already?
The old man then replied:
You don’t have to raise your voice, you can just tell me to scan this code on your table.
The young punk then said:
I wasn’t shouting just now, but now i am shouting!
The young punk then challenged the old man to a fight at the carpark, and this went on for about 20 minutes as the young punk refused to let the old man enter the mall even after the uncle checked-in.
Until the management came and intervened, asking the uncle to move along.
During which the young punk continued to shout for the uncle to go out and “1 on 1” with him.
