A 17-year-old teenager engaged in illegal sexual acts with several underaged girls in their classroom, including a 13-year-old girl who was his girlfriend.
He pleaded guilty in court earlier today (17 May) to two charges of sexual penetration of a minor, and another 3 charges will be considered for sentencing.
The accused cannot be named due to gag orders that protect the identities of the victims, and also because of the Children and Young Persons Act.
What he did
He began having underage sex when he was 14-years-old in November 2017, when his 15-year-old girlfriend who was in the same school, followed him home where they were alone.
They then had unprotected sex in the living room before he sent her home.
She then lodged a police report against him, stating that she had consensual sex and ended their relationship.
The accused then started dating a 13-year-old girl, when he was 15-year-old, and he suggested having sex inside a classroom, which the girl agreed to because she was curious about sex.
They then unlocked the classroom door after buying condoms, and went behind the teacher’s table where they kissed and cuddled, before he initiated sexual penetration (3 times), which the girl complained she was in pain.
She then said she was scared and asked him to stop.
The accused’s sentencing has been adjourned to June, with the judge calling for a report assessing his suitability for probation.
